Reflections

Gino is an advocate for drawing the human figure, this is where he sees the truth of the human condition witnessed. He also believes it to be the beginning of everything in art and offers us a vision for everything humanity has done.

Visual expression preceded the written language by many thousands of years and Gino sees it as a more sophisticated tool for communication. Which it is why oppressive governments fear it.  Being able to express in a tangible object, what is imagined, or to conceptualise an idea, or guide the creative process is a major function of drawing the human figure. Indeed drawing the human figure has been a constant expression of Gino's intellectual output. He sees the world as a reflection of the beauty in his mind set against offered truths by humanity and the struggles of the human condition, tinged and saturated with humans' propensity for all things. He balances this with the mystery of his nature..
